Our music studio is located inside the Creative Care & Wellness Center, an educational facility devoted to wellness through creative expression. We are honored to enjoy a spectacular group of musicians who are affiliated with our facility! Some teach every trimester and others teach occasional workshops and courses. All are part of the studio family and are held in very high regard!

Christopher Burns, Trombone & Low Bass Instructor
Mr. Burns is a professional trombonist and low brass teacher living in Riverwest, Milwaukee. He loves working with low brass students of all ages, with a focus on fundamentals. His instruction will introduce you to a natural approach to breathing and expression through the instrument, while allowing you to explore different musical styles of your choosing. Mr. Burns holds a Bachelor of Music in Trombone Performance from the Oberlin Conservatory, as well as a Master of Music in Trombone Performance from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University. You can hear him perform regularly with the Knightwind Ensemble (knightwind.org) as well as the Kettle Moraine Symphony (kmsymphony.org).
Jennette Cable, Owner & Director, Piano Instructor
Mrs. Cable holds Wisconsin teaching licenses in Music Education and Special Needs Education. She is also a Doctor of Naturopathy, certified by the American Naturopathic Certification Board, a Classical Homeopath, certified by the Council for Homeopathic Certification, and a Sound Therapist, certified by the Globe sound and Consciousness Institute. Jennette believes music and creative expression are critical components of good health. She founded Creative Care & Wellness Center, which is home to J.S. Keith Carpenter, Composition Instructor
Composer and guitarist Keith Carpenter has taught music to students of all levels for over twenty years. Dr. Carpenter's compositions have been performed in France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Albania, Argentina, and throughout the United States by groups such as the Amherst Saxophone Quartet, Present Music, the Northwestern University Contemporary Music Ensemble, Nouvel Ensemble Moderne, The Wisconsin Wind Orchestra, Thelema Trio, and more! In addition to composing, Dr. Carpenter is an active guitarist and guitar instructor whose philosophy is simple: no shortcuts. His holistic teaching style encourages students to enjoy music as a physical, mental and emotional experience. Dr. Carpenter has taught at Carroll University, the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, and is currently teaching distance learning courses for Lone Star College. Sarah Pulfer, French horn Instructor
Ms. Pulfer is an active horn performer and teacher in the Milwaukee area. Hailing from Arkansas, she came to Milwaukee in 2008 to complete her graduate studies and has remained a sought-after performer and teacher ever since. Ms. Pulfer has a national and international performance resume, but possesses a sincere passion for local community outreach. Ms. Pulfer teaches horn players of all ages and abilities through a focus on strong fundamentals and singing through the instrument. Sarah is currently on sabbatical while she works on continuing education and will be returning soon!

Sarah Richardson, Voice Instructor Emerita
Sarah Richardson possesses a Doctor of Music Performance degree from UW-Madison. She also holds degrees from UW-Milwaukee and Viterbo University. Recent credits include Königin der Nacht (Die Zauberflöte) with Milwaukee Opera Theatre, Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro) with the Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, Germany, and Miss Wordsworth (Albert Herring) with UW Opera in Madison. Sarah currently resides in Milwaukee and is an avid performer of chamber and concert work. Her performance work in opera, chamber, and concert music, as well as nearly ten years of teaching experience has given her a worthy foundation for vocal education. Joe Riggenbach, Voice, Beginner Mandolin Instructor
Baritone, Joe Willard Riggenbach is happy to be teaching Voice at the JS Cable Music Studio in the Riverwest community! Joe made his venture to the big city in 2006 after working for the Children's Outing Association's Summer Camp, Camp Helen Brochman, to study music at UWM where he sang opera, art song, and played trombone. He has performed throughout Milwaukee with Milwaukee Opera Theater, Skylight Music Theater, the East Side Chamber Players, Soulstice Theater, Milwaukee Opera On Tap, Present Music, and the Milwaukee Chamber Choir. Joe is a proud Riverwest community member who enjoys riding his bicycle, yoga, canoeing, and no stress dance parties.
Dan Schneider, Piano Technician, Piano Construction, Piano Tuning, Recording Specialist
